Sonicraft for iPhone

Privacy Policy

Sonicraft is designed so your media and creative work stay on your device. This policy explains what the app processes, what it does not send to us, and the limited cases in which Apple, Cloudflare, or your email provider may handle information.

Effective: August 24, 2026 Last updated: August 24, 2026
The short version

Sonicraft does not require an account and does not operate a backend for your projects. Audio, video, recordings, waveforms, transcripts, edits, processing state, and exports are handled on your iPhone. The app contains no advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDK.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Sonicraft iOS application (the “App”) and these Sonicraft legal pages (the “Website”). It does not change the privacy practices of Apple, Cloudflare, a file or photo provider you choose, an email service, or any other service outside our control.

2. Information processed on your device

To perform the actions you request, Sonicraft may process the following information locally:

This processing happens within the App and Apple system frameworks. Sonicraft does not transmit your media, recordings, transcripts, edits, waveforms, or exported results to us. Information that remains solely on your device is not accessible to us.

3. Information we do not collect from the App

Sonicraft does not use a developer-operated server, user account, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK. We do not collect from the App:

We do not sell personal information, use personal information for targeted advertising, or share App content with data brokers. We do not share your App content with third parties. If a future service provider is introduced that can handle App data, it must protect that data consistently with this policy, and this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that change is released.

4. Permissions and media import

Microphone

Sonicraft requests microphone access only when you choose to record audio. The recording is saved to a local Sonicraft project for on-device transcription and related actions. You can change microphone access in iOS Settings.

Files and Photos

When you import media, Apple’s system picker lets you choose the specific file or item. Sonicraft copies the selected item into App-controlled local storage so the project can continue to work if the external item moves. Sonicraft does not overwrite the original in Files or Photos.

5. Purchases and Apple services

Sonicraft uses Apple StoreKit to load products, determine offer eligibility and entitlement status, make purchases, observe subscription changes, and restore purchases. Those actions may contact Apple. Apple processes payment information and the App Store transaction under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.

Sonicraft may read the StoreKit information needed to unlock features on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your payment details, purchase receipt, or media. Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store sales, subscription, download, and performance information; Apple controls that information and its disclosure.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

Sonicraft stores each imported or recorded source, project metadata, edits, transcript, and kept result locally until you delete the project or remove the App. Sonicraft does not automatically delete your original project source.

Deleting a Sonicraft project does not delete the original item in Files or Photos, an export already saved outside Sonicraft, or copies you shared elsewhere. Depending on your iOS and backup settings, Apple may include local project data in a device backup. Apple controls backup retention and deletion.

7. This Website and support email

This Website contains no forms, advertising, behavioral analytics, or developer-set cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may automatically process limited network and security information, such as an IP address, request URL, browser or device information, and security logs, to deliver and protect the Website. Learn more in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, protect the App, and keep any records required by law. Please do not send private media or transcripts unless they are necessary and you intentionally choose to do so. You may ask us to delete a support conversation, subject to legal and security recordkeeping needs.

8. Security

Sonicraft relies on iOS app isolation and Apple platform protections for local data. No storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, maintaining appropriate backups, reviewing exports before sharing them, and using secure destinations when moving files outside Sonicraft.

9. Children

Sonicraft is a general-purpose sound utility and is not directed to children under 13. The App does not create accounts or collect personal information from the App. A parent or guardian should supervise use where required by local law and should review any media a child chooses to process or export.

10. Your choices

Because we do not maintain an App account or server-side project database, there is ordinarily no App content for us to access, export, correct, or delete. You can control your information by deleting projects in Sonicraft, clearing rebuildable caches, changing microphone permission in iOS Settings, managing Apple backups, deleting exported copies, and removing the App.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Sonicraft, its distribution, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how App data is handled, we will update the App’s disclosures and provide notice appropriate to the change before the new practice applies.

12. Contact

Email privacy questions or requests to gh111133@163.com. The provider of Sonicraft is the developer identified on the App Store product page.
